Draft Day 3 Thread

One message from this draft:
The Patriots must feel a lot better about Shawn Crable and Damione Lewis than most of us.

We've been waiting on Shawn Crable a couple seasons. Maybe they see something.

Or they feel with the other upgrades they've made, that they can cover up that spot more easily.

Interesting.. Denver just jumped back into the draft.. Trading a 5th rounder in 2011 for two picks.. 225 and 232.

what is the knock on freddie barnes? my god he caught a ton of balls.

Space - you need to make a slight change to your Sig and add..
Hum to the Tune of Gilligan's Island..

That said, I love it.. :rocker:
Thanks, but I have to drop it. There is no way the Jets are even the off-season champs any more.

Doesn't that belong to Seattle or San Fransisco now?

no separation speed, but 155 catches in a college season, a record. 12 catches would be an off game...

That seems like a steep price to pay, given the value chart and even assuming a 5th next year is worth a 6th this year.............

I bet BB would rather have had that pick than a high 7th rounder. Oh well; can't win 'em all!

blair white? deaderick? this OL is a stiff stiff...no drive in the run game? too slow to pick up quick OL? Sorry charlie.

I liked his other picks but he went off the rails starting in the 5th...he should have traded up for joe webb in the 6th also...

I guess the rb philosophy is that we are so bad at picking them it's better to just take them off the waiver wire or as a FA when they are thought to be washed up but still have a couple miles left in the tank.
Able to curdle milk at ten paces, it's ...SOURMAN. Da-da da-da, da-da da-da .... SOURMAAAAN!

So I supposed we are even more loaded for next year. I still can't believe that Jacksonville trade last night and with their draft it will be a high second rounder.

I'm sure Tampa Bay with all their needs would have liked to use those two picks, but good move by them to resist the temptation. Wonder what Denver's looking at to make that trade?

I did not envision a Blount freefall to this degree.

Josh McD must have realized that he took 6 offensive players and only one defensive one and needs to take a few more... even if 7th rounders

Syd'Quan Thompson one of the two Denver picks.

good point....patience would have been nice. we could have denver's fifth next year...fifths are gold, instead we got just some random guy who is about a 10% shot to make the PS.

Also how is damione lewis tall enough to play 34 end? Don't think he is.
