Saints just took Tennant. Solid value pick...

New Orleans makes a nice deal, trading its 5th round pick, No. 158, to Jacksonville for the Jaguars 2011 4th-rd pick
/schefter

Crap...NO just traded up with a 2011 pick and took Tennant the C from BC.

Just tallied...Mesko was named on a whopping 20 ballots in the draft board game, more even than Spikes or Gronkowski.

Scheisse... I would have been happy with Tennant.

None. But I don't pretend to be either. Thanks for sharing..
Just saying because you were so quick to criticize because of a bad senior bowl week which means much less than his career

What do you guys think of RB Charles Scott of LSU or DE Greg Hardy of Ole Miss?

Johnathan Dwyer must have ran over some guy.

The Pats obviously didn't like any of these mid-late DEs/OLB if Zoltan was above them on their board.

Jermaine Cunningham says hi.........

OLB - Tully, ninkovich, Crable, cunningham, thomas (not for long)

ILB - Mayo, Guyton, Spikes, McKensie

olb/ilb - Guyton ?? redefines his role?

Some guy named Butler...

Well, Butler is from Florida and he's from last year's draft, unless you're talking about another Butler. I was also only referring to the state of Ct.

These 5 guys were all taken in this year's first 5 rounds.

i don't pretend to know anything about scouting...

why is dwyer here so late? he isn't worth a flyer at this point?

Let's try to be UNLIKE Jet boards, where they blindly slam any Patriots comments, usually without ever actually READING them. Let the Jet fans have their say - so far they seem to be engaged quite earnestly in draft talk.

P.S. HATE Ravens getting David Reed. That's another great pick.

Thought you meant UConn...there's more to Ct. than just the university and ESPN?

Great year for your state...5 in 5 is a great number for any state

Senior Bowl = Pressure situation and job interview. Not sure how that means less than his career. Oh, and I haven't been a proponent of Mesko at all. Check the threads.. So, where you get this idea that I was "quick to criticize" is beyond me. I haven't wanted the guy ever.

Well that doesn't say much for the guys that don't participate in it I suppose

Since UConn went div. 1, the high schools have ramped up their programs. It's a small state but densely populated. They had quite a few top national recruits in the last couple of years.

1+1=3???? Really..

Only so many can be interviewed at a given time..

There are 3 different All-Star Bowl games. Senior Bowl, East-West Shrine game and Texas Vs. the Nation. most of these guys played in one of them.

Also, Mesko, while left footed, also takes too many steps.. So, while he didn't have issues in the College ranks, he could have issues in the Pros unless the Pats have him change his style to a one step. If he does, and is successful, great. Won't be the first time I've been wrong. Won't be the last either. Unlike some people on this board, I can accept the criticisms and admit to mistakes..
