Hey, is the strategy here to pick as many likely first-rounders as possible, so as to at least get a couple right? I thought we were trying to pick the actual draft. At least five of those guys have solid first-round grades.

I think 1 was the winner last year, so we're just trying to get any right. If you look at my picks this year 5-6 are second day, so I guess that was my strategy.:rocker:

1. David Harris LB Michigan
2. Ben Grubbs G Auburn
3. Daniel Sepulveda P Baylor
4. Michael Bush RB Louisville
5. Leon Hall CB Michigan
6. Zak DeOssie LB Brown
7. Dwayne Wright RB Fresno St.
8. DeAndre Jackson CB Iowa St.
9. Michael Griffin S Texas
10. Jon Beason LB Miami

Ah, that's the beauty of this contest! If you feel certain that there are only 10 possibilities for the first 2 picks, then listing them should secure you a very good score of 2...but also guarantee you don't score any higher. While spreading out your talent level raises the ceiling and lowers the floor. Decisions, decisions.

Without much of a strategy, here are my 10 picks....

Aaron Ross CB

Tony Hunt RB

Kevin Payne S

Sabby Piscitelli S

Doug Free OT

Jeff Rowe QB

Daniel Sepulveda P

Kevlin Smith ILB

Brandon Siler ILB

Kevin Boss TE

Don't ask where I got this list from b/c I couldn't tell you. I was in a trance like state of mind. And no, the world won't end in 2012.

Wow....I hope you go 9 for 10. I could live without the punter.

Awww...but he's like Josh Miller's long-lost son: precise spotter, awesome hangtime, and Jewish!

Heck, while I'm at it I can pair off some long-lost cousins among my 10 picks. DeOssie and Piscitelli could pass, or Gattis and Harris. And how about my bald Latinos, Gonzalez and Gutierrez?

Only 2 TEs? and none in the first round? nice try.

Since I got sooo lucky last year, I'll give it another shot!!!

David Harris
Joe Staley
Brandon Jackson
Merrriweather
Jeff Rowe
John Beason

Hedging my bets with Defense this year!

By Hook or Crook the Patriots will get these 10 draftees. Keep in mind that we will likely pick less than 10 players though.

1. Patrick Willis, LB, Mississippi
2. Anthony Gonzalez, WR, Ohio St
3. Usama Young, CB, Kent State
4. Zak DeOssie, LB, Brown
5. John Wendling, S, Wyoming
6. Daniel Sepulveda, P, Baylor
7. Matt Spaeth, TE, Minnesota
8. Ben Patrick, TE, Delaware
9. Dan Santucci, OG, Notre Dame
10. Desmond Bishob, LB, California

Yes I drafted TWO tight ends and two linebackers, I would be shocked with anything less... I'm not sure how the Patriots will get these guys but they are all guys that I can live with. We'll probably end up taking only 7 and end up moving some picks.

After 12 weeks of scraping, I've clawed my way into first place; now I'm just trying to hang on with these picks:

Dwayne Wright, RB Fresno State
Zack Miller, TE Arizona State
Leon Hall, CB Michigan (on a trade-up to #20)
Brandon Siler, ILB Florida (6th round)
Kevin Payne, S La. Monroe
Marcus McCauley, CB Fresno State
Aaron Rouse, S Virginia Tech
David Harris, ILB Michigan
Aaron Ross, CB Texas
Daniel Sepulveda, P Baylor

I like the picks but why only 2 TEs?

The NFL commissioner's office recently informed me that they have run out of tight ends due to the immense demand from the Patriots. Therefore that's all I managed to get us. :)

Joe Staley T Central Michigan
Ben Patrick TE Delaware
Tim Crowder DE/LB Texas
Micheal Coe DB Alabama St.
Chinedum Ndukwe S Notre Dame
Dedrick Harrington ILB Missouri
Isaiah Stanback WR/QB Washington
Jackie Battle FB/RB Houston
Adam Podlesh P Maryland
Courtney Brown WR/CB Cal-Poly
