Watching the SD/Den game... Denver has no reason to play tough, and they are BRINGIN' it against the Bolts. Brees was just knocked out of the game, on what looks like a nasty hyperextension of his throwing arm in a scrum after he fumbled at their own 2. Denver could be very... VERY... tough. Especially their D.

After the way they smacked us around earlier this year, I doubt anyone is overlooking them.

Philip Rivers: no timeclock in his head for when the defense is bound to get in, and can't hear footsteps.

I stated before, I would rather play Indy in Indy than Denver in Denver.

We do have to win our first playoff game before we get too concerned about either Indy or Denver.

I don't know. Manning is far more capable of exposing the weakest link the Patriots have, i.e., the secondary, than Plummer is. And, how about the center the ball off the crossbar, take the safety, go on to win the game in Denver in 2003? I'd take my chances with Denver if I had a choice, which I don't. In any case, Bill will have the team prepared better than any other coach can, no matter who they play.

I stll think Jake has a horrendous game in the next few weeks and sends them home, just like he has done every year of his career.

The key to Denver is stopping the run, which we can do this time, and making Plummer play catch-up. BB won't be out-coached twice by Shanahan and with Sey back and Starks out, I don't think they can out-play us.

His nickname should be Origami Jake

never know how or where, but Jake is bound to fold

I am simply not concerned with any team other than Indy in Indy. Only 3 teams gave us a total undressing this year--Indy, San Diego and Carolina.

Yeah--I said it. :rocker:

It would be nice if Mankins' technique has developed enough for him to pancake Ekuban, that vile child of illegitimate inter-species intercourse, on a regular basis. I wish I could remember what he did in the Denver/Buffalo game, but he drew a flag on Villareal who was responding to something nasty and illegal he did to one of the skill players. At least Mankins made sure he remembers to 'cup' up for any future contest.

I'd love to play Denver @ Indy. Those boys are no different then the previous two years.

You'd rather play Denver than who, then?

Don't forget that the worm sometimes turns, like the 2004 Boston Red Sox.
