Well, we'll see if JT truly wants to play for a contender; with the NEP currently instituted as 4-1 Super Bowl odds, you're not going to find a better contender in the NFL.

This has all the makings of a drama-filled (Favre) return to the Dolphins. Almost all Belichick era elite free agent signings happen early. If he in fact returns to Miami, he'll be the hero who turned down offers from their mortal enemy (N.E.).

What I think he really meant to say is:

I think Jason Taylor will be a Patriot, unless Miami or another team steps up to offer some real money.
