He owes us just one thing: to do what he believes puts the team in the best position to win football games, and do it within the rules of the NFL...that's it and that's all.
And after this comment, I wouldn't expect things with Brady to be any different than with other players:
Question: All we were told was a knee. Do you know anything more?
Answer: No, I don't. I think it's his knee.
That just makes me chuckle...Belichick thinks it's a knee...he's up to his old games, and I love it because while I'll be worried about Brady and questioning whether he'll be back next week, in two weeks, or in 2009, so will our opponents.
