Do you wish our schedule was tougher?

We have the Bucs, Bills, Falcons, and Ravens left (who will be fighting for a playoff spot). The schedule is what it is and we will certainly face some tough individual opponents down the road.

Exactly that's how I see it too; a lot of these Teams are banged up. IF we can keep key guys healthy we will be in it. Some are counting the Chiefs and Mahomes out of that fellowship of the miserables AFC West. Denver already won two games they shouldn't their luck will soon run out. Justin Herbert is approaching Trevor Lawrence territory the Big engines that couldn't.
I'm wondering what games people are actually watching? The NFL has been bad since 2020 and seems to be getting worse.

I feel bad for Teams who need a QBs; it's going to be a very long time between drinks.

The Raven are already dead they're in Elysium..."imagining the golf course" in week 8.

I see some are still doubling down that the Pats can't compete this year. What team could you point to in the AFC and say the Pats couldn't beat? Buffalo was supposed to be that team which was impossible to beat, but the Pats beat them at their house.

KC will always be a threat with Mahomes and their experience and that's about it. Indy is in the same boat as NE as the jury is still out how long they can sustain this. Pittsburgh is going to start slipping at any moment. The rest of the AFC is garbage.

It's 2021 all over again. The differences are that they beat Buffalo without the weather and and have a way easier schedule. We'll see how they do when Buffalo shows up for a rematch.

Don't be shocked if they are competing for the #1 seed again.

I didn't say the Pats can't compete. I said it is not likely they will. Of course there is a chance, but I don't think they have the running game and defense to compete yet and question whether Maye can continue at this level against a top team in the cold like he is now.

The Pats can improve their defense and running game over the season and potentially compete, but if they get into the playoffs it is a successful season. Anything more is gravy.

Well I guess I never grew up because I still want the easiest path possible. I will never root for my team to have a tougher time winning. Obviously in hindsight if you guaranteed me my team would win either way then yeah.. Then and only then would I prefer the tougher path.

Mike Evans broke his collarbone and won't be playing against the Pats.

There's no hope in dope....

They kinda won with less … or maybe equal to before … kinda ?

If Brady didn't become the goat, then maybe. But that 01 team is a lot better in hindsight than it was given credit for at the time. Imo.

In today's NFL, literally any team can beat any team any week.

Don't worry about the schedule... worry about injuries, progression and execution, but please don't worry about the schedule.

Nope, I don't. I'm not convince toughness comes from how many games your opponents win against other teams. There are plenty of kinds of tests along the way, like three straight road games or having huge TDs called back for phantom penalties.
Heard on sports talk this morning there's also gonna be a stretch of 3 games in 11 days. Those are tough tests.

Does anyone know how many or if even the Brady Patriots ever had 3 straight road games? Not denying the milestone to win them all this yr, but sports radio was making a huge deal about the franchise never having done it a few weeks ago. Im sitting there like, yeah but did they even get a chance ? Maybe once or twice if at all? For a weak schedule, and it is, 3 straight road and 3 in 11 is somewhat of an equalizer IMO.

Don't disagree at all that we have holes and have not proven ourselves yet. That said I dont know if I've ever seen the AFC weaker.

What?! Not in the least! Pats always have a killer hard schedule every year……it’s about time we get a break and get an easier schedule! Cream will rise to the top at the either way so we will see what Pats are made of if we make the playoffs!

We are facing a tough defense this week..

Shouldn't there be a poll with this thread?

No!

This is a great season for our QB to develop and the coaching staff to evaluate players. The team can build on this and prepare for next season when the schedule gets 10x harder. Broncos, Vikings, Packers, Chefs, Lions. 6-11

Getting postseason experience and fighting for the division is important. Even if they lost the first game. So a soft schedule is good in that regard.

Next year will be a brutal schedule. But the Patriots may be a much better team.

You think they go 6-11 next year. Is this before any FA/draft additions?
