Do you want to see the Colts undefeated as well??

I hope the Colts lose every game for the rest of the year. I couldn't care less about another battle of the unbeatens. I just want the Pats to get HFA.

FrontSeven:

Nice post. That's a great pre-game speach. You swayed me. If your scenario comes to fruition, I'm reposting that.

People unfamilar with Jacksonville should read up on them or watch what they can find. With a bit of hyperbole, Garrard is looking like what Vick was supposed to be. Their running game is killer, defense is stout. Plus, as someone said, they traditionally play the Colts like Miami plays the Pats.

So, alternatively, I would be just as happy seeing Indy go in a tail-spin after two straight tough losses....

Of course we don't. We want the Colts to have as many losses as possible b/c of the HFA issue.

Agreed. Who knows how many games we could lose this year. HFA is going to be a huge key this year.

Nope. Even though we're great on turf, the Colts are virtually unbeatable at home - especially with Polian monkeying with the thermostat to wear out our old-ass defense. If we can't get it done in 3 weeks we might still get home field in the play-offs if they lose 2 or 3.

We don't need a degree of difficulty here...

Yes. I want to see history, and I want the best theater that money can buy. I want the hype, I want the best versus the best with no ambiguity. I want to settle things until the playoffs. I want it to be in their house, give them every advantage that they can take, and then bury them.

I want to see something eerily predictable happen, like the undefeated teams staying that way until they play each other. I want to see them knocked off one by one, slowly, like the way Clint Eastwood knocked off the bad guys one by one. I want it sink into the heads of the fans of the remaining teams that only one team is actually left standing, and that they faced the best of the other lot to get that way. I want the fans of the other teams to drool and wonder what it's like to be us.

What the hell, we spent thirty or forty years wondering and drooling didn't we? We watched all of those Dallas-SF dream matchups that were in the stratosphere where the NFL gods actually reside. We watched all those Redskins-Giants matchups that looked like wars. And that was great football. Those were *their* teams though, not ours. It was always their teams.

Come on, this is it. This is history if we meet head-to-head with a combined record of 15-0. If that doesn't get the football blood flowing nothing will. If that doesn't make your NFL fantasy matchup come true, nothing ever will. What the hell did we dream about all summer, beating the Bills?

Anybody who wants the Colts to lose in between times is either a calcualating mathemetician, or a non-believer in who this team is. I think I know who this team is and they don't have to have help from anybody. I want that matchup because if they can't win it, then they don't deserve to be called the best at that point. I want that confirmation, either way, time to put up or shut up. At the end of that day, only one bunch is left standing, and the nay sayers have to admit that they were wrong.

This guy gets it! I want the Colts unbeaten, at full strength, and with ALL the hype. I am fully confident that we will finish with as good a record if not better so a win against them gives us HFA.

Besides,

1) I think if there is any team where HFA is overrated , its the Pats. Except for the game after video gate, Gillette Stadium crowd is one of the weakest in the country and offers the team little advantage.

2) I don't have a chance at getting a ticket to a Pats home playoff game anyway.

But its a moot point because I think we are clearly the favorite for the #1 seed. Seymour returning will only solidify this position

i want to see them lose every game till the end of the season.

Colts have a tough game Monday night in Jacksonville..

I want to see them undefeated on 11-4, and then I want to slaughter them in their house. I want it to be brutal, and I want all of those jackasses in that dome who gave me **** on 1-21 to leave at the half with their tails between their legs.

Then, I don't want either team to lose again until we meet in the AFCCG. I want those clowns to run their mouths again. Then I want to wind up and punch them in the mouth.

I want it to be VERY clear who the best two teams in football are, and also VERY clear that there is a huge gap between #1 and #2.

Why is it everyone ignores the fact that the Patriots opponents have a 14-20 record?

They actually have a 14-14 record when not playing the Patriots. Nice try though chief.

I like your style, MichiganDave.

I would like to see the Colts and Patriots come into the game undefeated... I already have a name for the game...

Clash of the Titans

Two AFC Powerhouses battle it out for home field advantage in the Playoffs
and remain the only NFL's undefeated team...

Yeah, I'm slightly passionate about beating those clowns after I sweated through my clothes in the 95 degree dome in January. I suggest multiple "Eff You" TDs on 11-4.

I do , the hype leading up to this game was amazing, could you only imagine the hype for the Colts game??? The ratings will blow the Cowboy game and any Red Sox playoff game through the water... I want one more battle of the undefeated's but first thing is first, take care of Miami and The Skins..

The Colts will be undefeated come November 4 and will hand your Pats their first loss, hands down. :rocker:

Your cheerleader pompom waving drivel is lame even on Indy Star Jilla. If you can't bring it as a troll you should just stay home where it plays to all the other Stepford like Dolts fans.

Feel free to taunt and jibe all you want. The Patriots team and players will be making their statements on the field. I predict that we won't hear from you for a long while after Nov. 4th.

You've got to be kidding me.The Razor is always rockin & rollin in January. No team wants to come to the cold, snowy Gillette stadium in January.

HFA might be overrated in crowd-noise, but no one wants to play in the snowy tundra in January. And no team plays better in the snowy tundra than the Pats.

Jacksonville's rushing offense has been quite impressive this season. I could envision the Jaguars pulling off the upset with a healthy dose of Fred Taylor and Maurice Jones-Drew crammed down the Colts throat.

In the meantime, I'm not sold on the Colts defense whatsoever, especially against the run.

I was thinking the same thing. I can see the Jags winning that monday night game but with that said the Patriots Colts matchup would still NOT BE tainted. Being both undefeated wouldn't make it any less of a game if one team or both teams have a loss by then.

Mathematically, we want the Colts to lose as many as possible before Nov. 4th.

For intangibles sake, I'd rather both teams be undefeated so the Colts aren't serious home underdogs.

Historically, don't you think the Packers are better at it?
