Do the Patriots need more white, indigenous, and Asian players?

  • Yes, more whites please

  • Let's see what the indigenous players can do

  • A few more Asians could only improve things

  • We need all three if we're going to be truly diverse

  • No, I'm against diversity in the NFL

  • RLKAG

Most of us have had a chance to hear coach Mayo talk in his introductory press conference about the importance of having a black head coach on a 4-13 football team in a league of predominantly black players. Mayo and Thunder went on to discuss about the importance of racial diversity. Mayo is correct, 56% of NFL players are black: Share of NFL players by race 2022 | Statista

The obvious question that follows is whether the Patriots can be further improved with more white, indigenous, and Asian players? We all understand the importance of diversity, so to me, this sounds like a no-brainer. I hope the Patriots can focus on expanding their white/indigenous/Asian player base in the next draft so we can get back to our winning ways!

What do you all think? Can the team be improved with fewer black players?

Yes, I’m middle eastern myself, the Patriots should absolutely let me play QB next season.

I'd go with Samoans. Those MFers ball.

Do people know Wes Welker is a citizen of Cherokee Nation ?

I did not realize this till I was looking up some WR Coach stuff.

So give him a Passing Game Coordinator title !

I’ve felt for some time now the Patriots have been somewhat of a restricted country club. I didn’t want to use the R word but we’re all thinking it.

Glad Thunder is handling this.

Where’s the “you’re coming across like a whiny *****” option? That’d be the one I choose. Sorry @Ian but too many on this board have lost their goddamn minds. I don’t envy you and the moderators. First Brady, then Bill, now the Blacks! The 3B’s of board divisiveness have come upon us like a holy trifecta of doom.

Looks at thread, gets annoyed with the topic, proceeds to insult original poster.

Who exactly is the whiny *****? Hint, look in the ****ing mirror.

Just vote that you're "against diversity in the NFL" and move on.

Ok...
