Holy cow, only 5 weeks of regular season betting remain. It was a boom or bust week. The Casino did well, but those who won mostly won pretty big. Before we get to that, it is time to sing the blues and say goodbye to our brotherblues who went bust on a fluky couple of 4th quarter catches by Tyquan. Thank you for joining us, and I hope you are back in August for Season 3.

We have a new #1 as mgcolby has reclaimed the top spot. However, I am hearing rumblings and rumors about Mr. Colby that would make Deshaun Watson blush. The Casino will be investigating, but I am hearing a suspension or permanent banishment from the league may be imminent. So, I am still #1 in my own mind.

Venecol was the big winner this week, catapulting himself into the Top 5. ArchAngel, FreeTedWilliams, and Hyped continued their hot betting to cement their places at the top of the rankings. Calhoun continued his string of positive weeks and is just shy of 300k.

We are all, of course, playing for the prestigious championship banner. See Pat the Pat Fan's profile to see what you are playing for. And it's not just the banner. I have been told that PatTPF hasn't had to buy a drink all year since winning the championship. He also has turned into a bit of a whore as women are throwing themselves at him since becoming THE MAN. There is a lot of pressure to win.

HOWEVER, there will be some parting gifts for those who do not finish 1st. If you plan on playing again next year, this should be something to be aware of when betting in the playoffs.

* Anyone who finishes with $50k or more in their bank roll will carry over $5k to next year. So you will start with $205k rather than the $200k the newbies will get.
* Those who finish from 10th to 6th place will carry over an additional $10k (in addition to the $5k above).
* 4th place will get an additional $15k
* 3rd place an additional $20k
* 2nd place an additional $25k
* 1st place an additional $30k to go along with the banner, free drinks, and lots of sex.

I will likely have the Betting thread up within an hour. I want to be proactive and get it posted while I am still conscious...and just in case I am not alive tomorrow.
