How long does it take to pass through waivers unclaimed? 24 hours or more?

I can not find him. As of now, he is NOT a member of the practice squad:

Right, because he was waived yesterday and had to pass through waivers. Before he could pass through we signed our initial ps. If he passes through it would make sense that he is added and someone is dropped. Perhaps the waiver claim 24 hour period does not include Sunday?
