Hightower is not playing as well or as obvious as he was before he opted out last year.. a year off seems to have effected him. I suspect as the season progresses he will be much better.

By the way, the sports and entertainment industry is now looking like the wall street money & political industry, etc., just full of nepotism, from coaches to media and even players. Recently saw that 35% of NBA players coming in are the sons of pro athletes, and if you really think that is because of genetics, you're not paying attention. I'm not saying they're not the best players, but when it comes to youth sports, money and training matters. A lot. You can argue that's maybe all that matters.
