I WOULD LOVE TO GO !!!! but i have work and family commitments here. but take heart my friend. might be able to find someone. send me you itenerary and ill post it and see if i can find someone. lots of donk haters in this town. so send it asap...............

Tailgate

Lot C opens at noon, and the rest open up at 1pm for the game on Saturday.

Denver fans are not big tailgaters, so it hasn't been an issue to get a good spot in the parking lot for the (2) games I've tailgated at this season.

Go Pats!

My plans are flexable since I'm traveling via automobile. I thought I would leave Thursday morning from Merriam and return to KC on Sunday.

must be to much horse meat???? lol. tailgating is BIG nationwide. check this:
http://www.tailgating.com/Tour%2002/Chiefs.htm
at the bottom click "back to the tour". get every team that tailgate. its un american not to tailgate. gez.

I'm in!

Just got my seats on craigslist, but there are GREAT deals on stubhub believe it or not.

What I meant was the Denver fans do not show up 5+ hours prior to kickoff to eat drink and be merry. There are a few, but most simply show up 1 half hour prior to the game.

Unlike in K.C., Philly, Foxboro and Green Bay.

I actually had to park the truck to save my spot back in Philly at 6am for a 8pm game. I had a buddy follow me, went back to the house and returned in the afternoon for the tailgate. You don't have to do that here.

I live 15 hours from Denver. It's the second closest NFL city behind Minneapolis. I'm trying my hardest to make it to Denver, but I don't think it will work out. I'm either looking at a 15 hour drive or the best deal on a flight I've found is $750. Wish I could make it.

Ian...can we sticky this thread

ok, who is going? I am going with out a ticket...but even if i get to tailgate with some folk on the board, then that all right by me...if i get a ticket, then that will be a bonus.

There is a few of us Pat fans that plan on Tailgating up there.......Were only attending if we make it to the Bowl..... :rocker:

Last year down in Jacksonville was sooo much fan.....Lots to see and do just in the parking lots of the Super-Bowl....Its an all week celebration the NFL Corp. puts on for both teams....

We were able to view the live taping of the "Best Dam Sports show" and I will be Looking forward to seeing Tom Arnold and Adam Sandler again...LOL

I will never go to Denver. Been there for Pats game, and there fans are the worst, the most arrogant and violent fans I have ever seen.

Wow. I've been to two Pats games in Denver, and both times they were the coolest, most knowledgeable away crowd I've ever dealt with.

Freakin' San Diegans were MUCH worse.
Bills fans are MUCH worse.
Redskins fans are MUCH worse.

I can't comment on Cardinals fans, because every time I went they were hard to find.
I'm generally pretty fearless, but I will not go to an away game at Oakland.

I dunno NEM, maybe it's you.

Arrogant & Violent Fans? You are describing Philadelphia and NY Ranger fans, NOT Bronco fans. At least not at the new stadium.

I screamed and rooted for the Pats at the Monday Nighter here in Denver in 2003 and had no worries about any violent repercussions. I even screamed at the fans in my section to go home and never felt threatened.

As far as the old Mile High was concerend. Yes maybe they were louder and rowdier, but I've never heard any of incidents like those that have occured in Philly.

Go Pats!

ok all, i am leaving Friday morning for Denver...Denverpatsfan i will call you on Sat when i am headed to the stadium. I will plan on Lot C but i will call and confirm. Anyone else that is heading to Denver...see you there! Go Pats!

If anyone is going and interested in some terrific Mexican food - try La Loma's - it's at 2527 West 26th, which is only about 1 mile north of Invesco Field. Been there many a time, they have great Margarita's and excellant food.

There's another place, the Wynkoop, downtown (near a lot of the hotels) near Union Station, I think it's 18th and Wynkoop. It's a cool place, they brew their own very very good beer (especially the dark), and you can order elk medallions, for example.
