Road games

Here are some of the road games Ive attended.

Only 2 dogs in the bunch.

That's awesome I have a shoe box full. I should make something like this. I really wish they still had stubs.

I too made sure not to take anything for granted and I never missed a single home game Tom Brady played in.
My grandmother used to say that if you have your health you're rich and have everything.

Its true as you can attest. Health problems prevent many people from going to events like these.

It sucks now that they are all e tickets.

The Super Bowl tickets are a work of art.

Your grandmother sounds wise.

nice... we flew into George Bush International, but stayed in Beaumont... my buddys sister lived there, so it worked out well for us... for 36 in New Orleans, we flew into Gulfport / Biloxi ... I used miles to buy the ticket, and couldn't get into New Orleans... we stayed outside the city though, no rooms available for the endzone denizens lol...
I worked a whole summer in Beaumont and traveled back to Houston almost every weekend to check on mail and stuff.

Hard scrabble town.

Summer in texas? too damn hot

Lots of people looking at Tennessee this season.

In hear that they have a NEP fan club there. Nashville must be a great time for nightlife and going out.
I’ve been to Nashville several times and it’s always been a blast, there is so much packed into a relatively small area and it’s a blast to grab some beers at 10:00 am while watching a band that is probably better than most bands you’d see headlining at clubs on saturdays around here

Predator games are a good time too and the arena is right next to the stadium

Went to 2 London ‘road’ games: 2012 (SD) & 2024 (JAX); both at Wembley.

IIRC the SD game might have technically been a home game.

Wembley is a nice stadium to get to; tube runs right there so it opens up all of London for accomodations.
Not so great for any kind of individual tailgating experience. The 500 yard pedestrian zone from tube to stadium has some restaurants &bars & on game day lots of kiosks w shirts hats etc. I would think a US stadium would have more bars w that much pedestrian space (& an often captive audience as all stream to tube at same time to leave).

London ( euro in general) football experience is weird. Attendees are principally NFL fans and not fans of either team. So you see all 32 jerseys in the crowd. But the English still do the soccer ticket sales process where they try to put all the visitor fans in a segregated block and think the “home” team is going to fill up the rest.

I really enjoyed both games.
SD highlight was me being in first row EZ seat wearing my Bledsoe 11 & Edeldude brought one into the EZ and he saw the 11 and pointed the ball to me. I think the play got called back as I could never find it years later in YouTube highlights. Ah well, I remember.

Jax game was my 60th bday present (to myself). But game itself wasn’t so memorable other than me scoring the last 2x Maye jersey at the nfl kiosk.

I met 3 lads that were Pats fans from Ireland that made it to the 2006 AFCC. This was Saturday night. They had never tailgated before so I told them that they could join me before the game. I wasn't planning on cooking and the whole shebang, but what the hell. It's about having a good time and giving these Irishman something to talk about.

So, I went to Lowes and bought a grill and charcoal etc and to the market for supplies - hamburger, brats, buns, chips, potato salad. More beer and not Bud Light, but not Guinness either. Unfortunately they never called or answered my calls to see if they were still coming. I wound up feeding Colts fans instead . Pats lost.

I noticed that too.

Credit to them though for interest in the NFL.
