And per Mythbusters the pressure in the footballs is optimized for maximum distance, if i recall correctly. Anymore or less pressure and the footballs lose distance for both passes and kicks.

Harbaugh complains about deception and everyone blames the NEP for it when it's on the refs to determine how much time to provide defenses for substitutions. I dont know how trusting this guy is, but he is saying that league is investigating the Patriots for deflating footballs. They said they weighed the footballs and such. Giardi retweeted it also.

Each team gives the refs 12 balls before the game, then the home team has to supply another 12. With the rain and the way they the ball boys sub the balls in and out, it would be impossible to get a specific ball in play. Just another throw some random allegation up against the wall and hope it sticks!
