This is equivalent to going 5 miles over the speed limit. I think the majority of people do it, and they get away with it all the time.

It is against the law and you can be punished for it, but chances are pretty good that you won't be.

In fact, the person going the speed limit when others are exceeding it is actually more of a hazard as people change lanes to get around them, increasing the likelihood of an accident.

Now suppose you have been caught speeding before, you have a readily identifiable vehicle, and the cops know who you are

Think you might be more likely to get caught?

Like I said, they will protect the officials at all costs even if it was their mistake. This will all be on the Pats.
Yeah, if they are worried about 'the integrity of the game' (ha - their only concern is profits and public image with casual fans), then the last thing the NFL is going to do is throw any officials under the bus - especially with something that has grown this big.

There is one aspect to this that we haven't discussed - the NFL stated they were doing interviews with staff. What if someone owned up to purposefully deflating the footballs?

Worst case scenario, but possible.

Vegas odds are that you will never pay it.

You want to put your money where your idiot mouth is??

You made it public moron. That's on YOU! That bet was made with fggsand and you said you'd post the reciept. Post #109. You made it everyones god damn buisness. Put your money where your mouth is.

How do you know it hasn't already been satisfied?

I don't owe you two mo mo's anything.Especially when it come to my buisness. So blow it out your ass.

As far as playing by the same rules crap, in real life NO ONE plays by the same rules. Ever heard of favoritism? Nepotism? It's rampant in regular society.

Get a clue.

Given his comments in this thread I really believe that thread should be reopened so we can address the claims he made in it.

I would add that since the Pats are a winning organization and have been caught before, it's the equivalent of a repeat offender driving a sports car on the road. It just attracts more attention and will be looked at more closely.

The term pink hat comes to mind, but that's really am insult to the women who post here because it implies a front runner who only cares when they are winning and the women who post here have far more knowledge, dedication and fortitude than you will ever possess. You're a whiny little ***** and a ****ty fan, you should stick to your Broncos because as you told us already, their the greatest team ever assembled, they won't let you down.

Actually, the pink hats are for women who support breast cancer awareness, which apparently Patrodomous thinks it's OK to ridicule and scorn that cause.

If my mother were still around she'd punch him in the throat (God rest her awesome soul ).

All this fake outrage is sickening. Where the hell were all these upset people complaining about "cheating" when the Packers/Patriots game took place and we found out Rodgers over-inflates footballs? Simms made it loud and clear on the broadcast. I remember hearing it at the time and thinking "Oh, that's interesting" but didn't go crazy and accuse him of cheating.

The double standard here is unbelievable. This is only because it's the Patriots.

I was the first Ravens fan to congratulate your team on destroying the Colts last weekend and making the SB, so I'm no troll. However, I want to weigh in on this from another fanbase perspective.

1. Have the Colts balls been checked for low pressure or just the Pats? If the Colts balls were underinflated too, then this situation is a non-issue and a wash.

2. If only Pats balls were under-inflated and this is not a prevalent practice in the NFL - this casts a permanent cloud of cheating in the Belichick era. Even if it was the ball boy who did it. What a crying shame because your team is better then any other team out there without resorting to "the end justifies the means" thinking. If true - your head coach needs to go to prove your team will not tolerate cheats. The Ravens have their fair share of thugs, but nobody hates anything more than a cheat in sports (e.g. Lance Armstrong).

Ice up son . Ice up.
Thats all I'm telling you.
Let me know what you get for a reply by the way. Lets me see if you CAN MAN UP and get back to me.

Oh my!!!! I think I'll go molt somewhere.

My god are you a pathetic.
Only a pathetic soul such as your own would disparage a cause like fighting breast cancer. Please do us a favor and do go "molt" somewhere, whatever the eff that's supposed to mean.

you should post that on a raiders board

Oh, HELL no. That thread sucked more than a black hole. The guy isn't even a Pats fan, and I don't come here to read the opinions of non-pats fans. Back on ignore he goes!
