I like his height/weight (6'5/310), but Bill has to do better at backup DT than 2 UDFAs
from Maryland.
Wilfork/Kelly will need quality rest, and Vellano/Francis aren't ready to help us.

BB can and might put in those 2 claims, but it is highly unlikely that they will drop to him. He might not even bother, if two or three teams in better positions do so as well.

I was sincerely hoping for a surplus TE versus a surplus DT trade with the Giants; but it was apparently ruined by the ill health of Ballard and Fells.

I am also curious about who is claimed by whom; I haven't had time yet to read any other
teams' transactions after they finished their last wave of cuts.

To be clear, were you hoping for a trade from the NYG of one of their backup TEs to us, or
one of our backup TEs to them?
