Deaderick suspension lifted

Great news for our run D and depth. Really hope he can get past all whatever problems there was and get back into the regular rotation

Or maybe it was a wake up call to the kid. We don't know we can only speculate. This move certainly helps depth, although not a difference maker Deadrick has experience in the 3-4, can hold the point and contain.

Without knowing specifics re: the severity of Deaderick's infraction(s), we can only speculate, but unless he slept with BB's mother I doubt BB would hurt the team by keeping him suspended through the playoffs.

Plus, even if Wright were healthy, both he and Pryor are doodoo against the run, so I think they'd want another big body in the mix regardless.

Eh, of course I'm just speculating. That's really all you can do when it comes to this team re: injuries and disciplinary issues. The two moves (Wright to IR, Deaderick suspension lifted) coinciding with one another are either related or just funny coincidences. I'm leaning toward the former myself.

So Deaderick is unexpectedly back making him the second zombie on the 2010 squad. Way cool.

That means on Monday when Spike's roster exemption expires we spin the roster roulette wheel once again.....

I would imagine we're looking at an extended tryout for Murrell and Ellison, with injury status at those two positions being the tiebreaker.

Hope he learned from his punishment.

Word is he cleaned the shower and bathroom floor with a toothbrush.
I heard he did the warden's tax returns and that of all the screws too. I simply don't believe the rumor about tarring the roof .

Mmm interesting. So does anyone know why he was suspended in the first place?? I know that Pats info is almost NSA top secret. But somebody must know the facts of the situation.

asking the same question this past week myself. Glad he's back!:rocker:

Tough to lose the pass-rush ability that Wright provides. However, Deaderick coming back softens the blow, and hopefully the kid learned from whatever transgression placed him on suspension in the first place.

Reiss said he had missed a number of meetings, been fined and subsequently playing time cut because. Apparantly, the message never resonated so he needed a little more of a severe reminder if how to act like a professional and not a student.

And he'd already been on double secret probation all year.

Oh man the Patriots should learn to draft guys who are punctual...like Dez Bryant.

Ideally it transpired like this:

Wilfork and maybe Warren have been in contact with Deaderick. They have been telling him to smarten up(in so many words). Deaderick has been receptive to this, looking to get back on the field and show he has his head straight. When Wright went to IR, Wilfork went to BB and said Deaderick is ready to play it right. BB, being the pragmatist he is, gives Deaderick the chance to show he is ready to go (and helps the DL situation).

Hopefully this is about Deaderick doing the right thing after the suspension and not due to depleted DL desperation.

In an unrelated story, Mike Wright done for the season........

I would like to think your scenario is correct or even if it didn't go down exactly like this perhaps along these lines. Otherwise, it sets a bad precedent going forward but I don't think BB would do that..

Seriously great news for our depleted DL. Hopefully he's learned his lesson, whatever it was supposed to be.

Hey, a little literary reference. Let's just hope the sisters weren't too hard on him in the laundry room.

Seriously this has been a unbelievable year. Who would have thought we'd be relying on 7th round picks and unrestricted free agents to man the front lines.

I'll be a little surprised if we don't have a press availability where Mr. Deaderick says all the right things. Not like BB to leave a pall over the post season.
