How do you go six weeks without hearing about this?

I live out in the sticks in the ass end of nowhere and we don't have cable TV. I get my news through Google and only when I know to look for it, so I don't tend to find these things out unless I stumble over them in a news article on my phone or someone points them out to me.

I should have realized when it wasn't already a big news item but I was so shocked at the news itself that I wasn't thinking clearly. I do that sometimes. My moniker isn't just an idle joke, it's a reminder to try and think things through. Obviously it doesn't always work.
