Did he play?

I know he did, but, wow, talk about an invisible man in a big game.

Loved the Peter King tweet:

Karlos Dansby, self-proclaimed best LB in NFL, can't cover the undrafted kid from Chadron State. Belichick triumphs again.

Edit: FWIW, while on LB play, Mayo looked good last night, I thought. Dude was everywhere.

I was shocked how quiet Dansby was.. The 1st 3 weeks, he was playing great..

Coach's a genious, talk about taking a way your best man on offense, and he got their best defender (at least 1 of their best) basically non-existant. just great work by the coaching staff all around!

As bad as the Cardinals look, letting Miami make Dansby the highest paid LB in NFL history was smart.

Not to mention Wake was nowhere near as impactful in the 2nd half as he was in the 1st. For those worried about adjustments, that's a good sign that either BB still has it, or his unofficial coordinators are not as bad as people think.

Or maybe they finally woke up from their collective slumber.

I would still like to have Wake, they can keep Dansby though

Oh without a doubt. He plays the way I hope Cunningham can eventually. That's what makes the adjustment meaningful, is that he's clearly a high energy player who can cause disruption, and they were able to contain him part way through the game.

Somewhere along the line this morning I read that the Pats took Wake down a notch by running outside, keeping him off balance that way.

Yes the wild pass rush is effective, but not when it is a running play. The Pats ground game was the surprise of the game to me.

Wake is a great pass rusher, we all saw that 1st hand.. But against the run, he's a liability.. Noticed we run off tackle at him and he got lost in the shuffle? Great play calling of taking what the opponent gave and attack that..

Wake was better as situational pass rusher for Miami behind JT / Porter. He's going to cost them, 'cause he sucks in the running game. Kind of reminds me of the other guy Nolan had in Denver, Dumervil. Anyone remember how bad they were getting thrashed at the end of the year?

Give Cunningham some time, hes still in pre-season. Wake banged around for years before finding himself

Cameron Wake is a Jarvis Green-like liability against the running game. Can't set the edge if his life depended on it. I hope Cunningham can amount to something more than that.

If Wake were here he would be asked to rush the passer.
