As much as I like Hamilton, and as much as I hear that the Pats like him, that means he has 0.01% chance of becoming a Patriot at the draft.

Yeah, they seem to go for the cones and shuttles on their slot guys but it doesn't matter at all in their outside guys. It's actually sort of impressive to me how bad an athlete Dobson and Mike Floyd were.

IDK. The Pats seem to prefer good agility numbers, whenever they can get them.

Hogan ... 4.15 ... 6.75
Dorsett ... 4.11 ... 6.70
Cooks ... 3.81 ... 6.76

The most consistent difference I've seen is 40 times. Edelman, Amendola & Welker were all in the 4.52-4.58 range. With the exception of Hogan (4.50) pretty much everyone else recently has been 4.45 or faster (Dobson was 4.37, 1.51 10yd).

BTW, Hamilton reportedly clocked 4.47 & 4.52 at Penn State's pro day.

I asked Mcshay about him at the STH draft preview at Gillette Sunday and if he's someone the Pats would look into. Really didn't say but did say big body who likes to go up and get the ball.

I am hoping after his first stint with another team or down the road he will be with us

Our workout was with Chad O’shea.
