D-Mac says he’ll return to NE if Tom does

TB left before the start of the 2019 season. He tried to go to the Dolphins, and failed. Why are people blaming BB for this? Brady pouted, cried, and then tanked the 2019 season after he lost his binkies Brown and Gordon. "I'm the most miserable 8-0 quarterback ever!". Should have traded him then. Could have got a kings ransom. If you want to blame BB for anything, blame him for being to kind to Brady.

He might if he already soured on Mac but I don’t think it’s mutual. Brady doesn’t really have any reason to come back here. Been there done that. Id love to see it but imo a NE return for TB12 is not a new mountain to climb and not really adding anything to his legacy.

Brady is looking for a team with all the pieces sans QB. Bucs was that team in 2020 and 2021. Bucs weren't that team in 2022 and he made a mistake renewing with them but had to honor the agreement as the Bucs wouldn't let him out of it.

Now Brady is on the hunt again for a complete team missing a QB willing to mortgage the future for a chance at the trophy. Pats aren't that team so why would he come here.

Isn't it obvious. Because BB wouldn't give Brady a 2 yr $50m deal that Brady wanted and clearly deserved?! Brady's ask wasn't egregious. By turning it down you are kicking him out.

Ultimately any player leaves if you don't meet their terms. If their terms are crazy, people say the player chose to leave since he's making an egregious demand he knows can't be met. If their terms are reasonable and he's still not retained, it's understood the player was let go. In Brady's case it was clearly the latter.

No.

Look, time marches on. Tom's a great QB. But we have somebody we need to figure out at QB right now. And that doesn't happen with Tom here.

Has anyone talked about the under-handed dis at Mac that this DMac quip was??
That's a bit alarming coming from him. I saw the context, and it was all in jest, off the cuff. But, may not appear funny to the remaining offensive teammates and Mac.

Do not attribute to malice that which can be attributed to stupidity.

The first three pages of this thread are full of comments saying that this was a slap in the face to Mac (it wasn't).

I love that he got mad, dropped a double F bomb, and then swapped to “I appreciate you asking, thank you.” Lol
Jim Gray must have pissed himself.

Another thread, another Brady knock. Shouldn't you be chasing ambulances tonight councilor?

Timmy throwing a hissy fit lol…
