Tears of joy thenAs a matter of fact, it's going exactly how I though it would.
I wouldn't go that far.Tears of joy then
He played pretty great in the second half. This thread is going about as well as Joe Burrow's not so triumphant return from injury today
I have some PTSD issues from my time in Iraq, I worked in a tent hospital and daily pulled patients off of helicopters some times living and sometimes unrecognizable due to a bombing. There were several times that I cried as a professional member of the military and on the battle field.I'm ****ting on someone who can't hold it together in a professional sports setting.
As a fellow vet, I have all the sympathy in the world for you.I have some PTSD issues from my time in Iraq, I worked in a tent hospital and daily pulled patients off of helicopters some times living and sometimes unrecognizable due to a bombing. Still cry at times now despite years of therapy. I also understand that I am an incredibly emotional person and others can also be that way. I can't understand your stance but respect the fact that you feel that way about our current undefeated starting QB.
Thank you and thank you for your service. As a fellow vet, I have all the sympathy in the world for you.
I think these outdated views will probably die over time. I’m sorry but not sorry. Men and women shouldn’t need to behave a certain way to live up to society standards. How do you feel about toxic femininity?
I don’t care about any of this.I don't care for his crying. He can care or not that I care.
If you get to start in the NFL ever, what other validation do you need?Jacoby Brissett says he cried three times before Patriots' Week 1 win over Bengals
Jacoby Brissett admitted that his emotions were high ahead of Sunday's upset win over the Cincinnati Bengals.www.cbsnews.com
Dude, you know you're just a placeholder for the real future of this team. I mean, you "won" the starting job and you're getting paid millions. Good for you. But this isn't some validation for you as a player.
I wasn't a fan of the total media lockdown Belichick had on the team for two decades but c'mon with this stuff. The only time I want to hear that the QB cried is if he was carted off with a broken leg and even then I wouldn't like it.
Great post…..It's his personal story. He wants to play and be a starter. Despite his limitations he has been able to do that for 48 games and there was a real risk to him starting this season. So when he gets the chance back, emotions do take over. Nothing wrong about it. It shows he cares and wants to perform and be a Leader. No wonder he is having a phenomenal backup career .
He would be the case study of how to resurrect your QB career.
Very well saidWhat a hardo post for the OP. He’s been a backup most of his career and this is one of the only times he’s ever been a day 1 starter. It’s an amazing accomplishment that he deserves to be proud of.
The OP comes off as either just a huge a-hole or maybe someone who’s just never worked hard for and accomplished something so he can’t relate to how that feels.
You silly, silly girl. Try Gaelic football, hurling, rugby, etc. This is American football. The toughest of the tough play. Crying because you beat out a rookie because the team knows the O-line sucks shows a lack of awareness of the situation.
And, even if he did cry, why broadcast that to the media?
There is nothing wrong with people showing emotion. Good for Jacoby, he’s a good guy who appreciates what he’s earned.Yes. Yes is does. Shootings happen all the time in Boston (less than 50 miles away from where I live) and I don't cry over them.
Crying in a documentary years after the events is one thing. Crying before and after a Game 1 when you know you're not the plan for the team going forward is ridiculous.
