A very simple task. Forget about trying to be a mad scientist. Forget all the excitement stirred up by the draft process-just sit down, concentrate on YOUR 3 players that you believe the Pat's should target for round one. Give me the 3 picks from your heart as you played this over and over for weeks now. We are 2 weeks away from Christmas. I want to see where we stand.

Oher
Pettigrew
Maualuga

Maualuga - Barwin - Gilbert

Evander Hood-DL

Rey Maualuga-ILB

Alex Mack-Center

Hood
Gilbert
B*****

Andre Smith - T - Alabama - Falls a la Big Vince in 04.

Jarron Gilbert - de - We get him at 34.

We trade 47 for a 1st rounder next year.

E. Brown
D. Butler
L. English

I do like Britton a lot, but we are fine for now at OT and we have a tremendous opportunity to re-load the front seven. We could get three of the above players.

Oher (or Smith if he falls)
S. Smith
This would depend on where BB is planning to play Thomas this season.

William Beatty

Jarron Gilbert

Clint Sintim or Connor Barwin

Barwin

Butler

...no clear #3

Ultimate present:

Raji (trade up with 23 and 58)
Barwin (34)
Delmas (47)

Consolation presents:

Beatty
Gilbert

Aaron Curry***
Rey Maualuga
Clay Matthews

Id be happy with any of these fine football players:)

Great post.

Personally, it doesn't matter to me who the Patriots draft. I will just take who they do and try and figure out what the Patriots saw in them so I can better learn the game.

Nicely said.

With 11 picks and 6 in the top 100, this board has done a terrific job of discussing just about every potential prospect out there, from the top 10 locks to the obscure sleepers. I don't feel that there will be very many true "shockers" in the sense of picks who we haven't already discussed and dissected. But we will then have our work cut out discussing and dissecting why the FO chose to go the way that they did.

At 23:
That Guy
Jarron Gilbert
William Beatty

At 34:
Larry English
Louis Delmas
Eric Wood

Sintim
Barwin
Matthews
