If there was such a love for this guy, he would have signed with pitt.. I dont want Dante Culpepper near this franchise, go to Baltimore or somewhere like that stay from NE,, He is uncoachable...

You know this because you have coached him?

his resume speaks for him self mate..

Excellent career at Minnesota...

Goes to 2 of the worst organised franchises in the NFL and things go bad...

I see where you are coming from. But making a comment like he is "uncoachable" is just ridiculous.

The guy is a proven QB. Maybe if he had a couple of good coaches and good players around him he can do alright. He would be an immediate upgrade on Cassell.

You two should post your thoughts in multiple existing threads or get a room...LOL

Yah, we need one specific thread for each Patsfan poster to explain thier own QB philosophy.

Is Culpepper even a real option. I think if he was, he would already be on the roster. His football intelligence has always been in question, as is his ability to read defenses (kinda goes hand in hand). He isn't a guy you want to add in the 11th hour unless you are in desperation mode which the Pats are not. He would need a lot of time to get up to speed with the Pats' offense. He would be useless to them for several weeks or even months.

Thanks to Ian & Co., we now have that. Let them go for dueling blogs.
