look at it this way. any one of us could meet the loan payments, pay everybody, do the franchise's business, just with their guaranteed revenue. problem is, none of us (i assume) can get the commitments necessary to buy a franchise with nfl approval in the first place.

key thing for all us to remember----the patriots are certainly not losing money. better stated, kraft is not losing money on the patriots. tv revenue is, i think $155m per team. part of the nfl'ss antitrust exemption is a set of provisions so advantageous to owners that kraft could pay off the stadium in 15 years from the tax credits alone.PATSNUTme said:What i was trying to say is that there's a difference betwwen the "cap' number and the actual money the player recieves in any given year.
