Could Pats play on Thanksgiving in 2010?

It's good strategy wise too. Playing on a short week doesn't bother me since it's Detroit, and they're on a short week too. Then you get 10 days to prepare for the next team.

New York would give high ratings too. Besides, Thanksgiving games get huge numbers anyway. You'd have the top two qb's from last year's draft, a seemingly up and coming team, and you know Rex would say SOMETHING worth talking about.

I wouldn't mind if the Pats played on Thanksgiving but could do without it as well. I watch anyway.

I heard that the Jets Vs Colts division game was the highest rated non super bowl event ever. I found that surprising.

Nope. JEST@Colts only got about 2/3 the ratings of Favres@Saints. :D [The latter game was the highest-rated event, other than a SB, since the finale of Seinfeld.]
