Blount, Butler, Chung all snubbed.

Agree completely, Butler and Chung played at All Pro level and Blount had a great season. Don't know how you score at least fifteen touchdowns and don't go to the Pro Bowl. Oh well, it's not like they could have played in it anyways.

Chung should have made it for sure. He has had 3 years in a row of really good play so voters should know who he is by now. Cannon based on his play only thing year should take it but they are usually a year behind on OL players.

Butler probably should have made it but there are a few really good CBs in the AFC.

It's fairly common to have pro bowl clauses which pay bonuses in contracts. So, while it may not be a big deal to us if a particular guy gets snubbed, it can be very significant to that particular guy.

Chung is a SS, and there's only one SS spot.

I love Chung but NO way in Hell does he deserve it over Eric Berry.

I am a bit sad that neither Butler or Blount got selected, both deserved it. Butler shut down the leagues top wide receivers all season long and Blount ran over the league top defenses and gets no loving.
No Fun League.

Well deserved!

Its was about time for High.

Slater says Little Ebner deserved it.

No Malcolm is a crock. Pretty sure he'll keep that in mind for the next 5 games.

DMac now made it as both cornerback and safety (at last). Has any other player changed positions and made it as both before?

I took a quick look and Ronnie Lott, Rod Woodson, Aeneas Williams and Charles Woodson all made the pro bowl at CB and Safety. I didn't make a distinction between free safety and strong safety, though. I'm sure I've probably missed someone, but it's not bad company for McCourty to be in.

Figured Butler was a lock, so I'm pretty surprised there.

I'm not overly surprised about Blount with Bell and McCoy in front of him, but no Cannon is a shock. I guess the Pro Bowl voters don't know his name. JJ Watt, Von Miller and Cameron Wake know his name though.

Butler snub is a crock, but the two most deserving Patriots to earn their first pro bowl selection, based on years of being under the radar, got the nod.

Hightower was criminally snubbed the last two seasons, especially last year. McCourty is snubbed every year...he did make it as a rookie, but this is his first selection as a safety.

At least Butler got the nod last year, even though many believe he was better this year.

Marcus Cannon and possibly Nate Solder are now the two most deserving to get the honor for the first time. Blount absolutely should have made it, but in his case the perception of his non-elite play in previous years skewed the vote. Normally the league's leading TD scorer is an automatic selection.

Law Firm says hello.

McCourty is the only AFC representative who does not play in the AFC West....doesn't seem right

Wow...good for them

smh.... over my dead body

People are more in love with the flashiness and the yards than they are the Touchdowns. They don't care about the down and dirty players like Blount. I don't care to be honest, I would rather see the Pats playing the week after the Pro Bowl anyway.

I will say this though, Hightower no doubt should have been added. IMO he is in the top 2 or 3 for LB's in the NFL Keukle and Mack may be better, maybe..lol (I am such a homer, I know it)

cooper 16 catches in last 5 games, 4 tds all year..less than 60 yards in last 6 games

I gotta disagree with the Chung being snubbed opinion. The safety spots are always very limited for the pro bowl.
