Today was a bitter pill to swallow. But congrats to Brian Flores for coaching the Dolphins to a great second half of the year.

That squad played with Patriots grit. The Patriots, on the other hand, look like they need to stop pouting. Hopefully we haven't seen the end of Bill's effectiveness as a motivator, as this team played entitled and lazy for long stretches this year.

Fck him for stealing so many of our staff. He's dead to me now. There's no return for Flores ala McDaniels once he gets fired.

Yeah nothing but respect for Flores. I thought it was a really stupid situation for him to go to given what they did with that roster but in reality the bar for success was set so low that even 1 win would have been enough for him to look like he had done a decent job with what he had.

Instead they just ended the season beating the current champs. I wonder how their GM feels about Flores being good enough to ruin their tank job.

Flores seems like a decent dude but his team acted like fools in their two match-ups this season. I still remember one of their interior DL doing an elaborate celebratory dance after a NE false start in week 2.

Same story today; their whole team, but especially the defensive secondary was generally acting like asses the entire game - Rowe really jumped out at me as doing a lot of empty, insecure barking in both games this season ... no idea why he'd have any animosity towards NE given that they lowkey revived his career after he flopped in Philly.

The fact that team was so hyped up and threw out every single stop to win that game should be seen as a show of respect, but it sure comes across as insecure kid-brother sh*t watching from afar.

Their play on the field backed it up though so they get the last laugh.

Not sure how I feel about Flores poaching coaches since I don't work in the industry and don't have an understanding of what the gentleman's agreement is there, but losing O'Shea definitely hurt us; probably some of the other coaching losses, too.

Flores got his team to play hard and I give him credit for that. Taking a team from plucky overachiever to legitimate contender is a big step so we'll see what the Dolphins do with all the cap space and draft capital next year.

C'mon. The Dolphins are led by a former Patriot who served on multiple Super Bowl teams. Congratulating Flores isn't like thanking the Ravens, Chiefs, etc. for beating us when their staffs have no significant history with the Patriots.

Lmao Brian was our DC last year when we won the SB and was on our staff for 15 years. Why am I supposed to be forced to be as miserable of a person as you are?

Somehow, it seems better to be rightfully miserable over a miserable loss than "laughing your ass off" and gloating over a FORMER coach beating the team most of us here root for. Something's a bit screwed up about that, especially considering how Flores crapped on BB in setting up his staff. But maybe you can get a Dolphins jacket to wear with your Jacoby Brissett Colts jersey.
