My hats off to you for coming here and defending your team with reasonable and sensible responses.
But I just cannot get past the simple fact that the Colts have the attitude that they need to score as many points as possible-despite having the game well in hand. And having a decent defense too.
I guess I have seen too many games where Peyton will call for a pass play on 1st and goal from the 1 yard line and keeps throwing until he gets another TD pass.
Maybe, its because I have had to read too many of his comments about "We're the better team" after losing game after game to the Pats. Despite the Pats complimenting the Colts before and after the game.
So my permanent opinion of Peyton is he is a sore loser and is extremely concerned about being the statistical passing leader in the NFL.
^^^Absolutely PRICELESS!!!!^^^
The AWESOME fans talk out of both sides of their mouth
Not really. As usual, you take half a loaf and claim you've found a bakery. The Patriots only 'threw' for one score out of 3 in the second half (the 4th 2nd half td was a defensive score). One 'and goal' situation had Brady run it himself, one had Cassel run it in and one was the pass to Welker. Frankly, I think the pass to Welker was uncalled for and probably crossed the line, but you're acting as if you have a smoking gun when you don't.
Ummm, no. BOTH SIDES of their mouth. In '06(or ANY OTHER YEAR), BAAADDDD. Colts are running it up. In '07, with Brady re-entering a game, or scoring with 20 seconds to go, or throwing at 38-0, GOOOOD.
It's a double standard that was started HERE.

Let me make sure I'm understanding you. Are you saying that when the Colts beat the Redskins last year it was running up the score, but this year with the Patriots it is something else? Or what other point are you trying to make here?
His gripe/attack was wrong in the context of the post he quoted, as I pointed out in my response. I have no problem with pointing out past inconsistency/hypocrisy if it's valid. It wasn't in that case. If you trolls are going to play "Gotcha!", at least have the brains to choose the right quotes to do it to.
I was just trying to figure out your point. I was posting my question when you replied to He Ban Me. I respect the Patriots and all they have done. I've been here a while, always with my hat in hand when it comes to the team you root for.
I still think it is funny seeing the threads here, bashing the Colts for years for "running up the score", then defending the Patriots when they clobber other teams.
I don't have a problem with either team scoring as many points as they can. I agree that it is the Offense's job to score points and the Defense's job to stop teams from scoring points. The Colts let up when they were at the top of their offensive game and stunk turning the heat back up.
