Yes, the Colts have a 3-game "winning" streak thanks to the bottom-feeders of the AFC South, but now the Colts are going to have to play real NFL teams. 3 of their next 4 games are against teams that are currently undefeated. Only one easy game in that group.

Week 6: vs. New England
Week 7: vs. New Orleans
Week 8: at Carolina
Week 9: vs. Denver
Week 10: Bye
Week 11: at Atlanta

So we're about to find out just how good this pre-season Super Bowl favourite really is...

carolina is a joke

I don't know if I would portray the Saints as being an easy game; they played pretty well last night. If I recall correctly opponents historically have often not performed very well the week after having to have played the Patriots.

They will win that division with a 6-10 record.

All 6 wins against their division teams.

We need a "Funny but true" button for this.

While many fans and media members dump on the Pats for playing in the allegedly weak AFC East, the Colts have been completely propped up by a very weak AFC South over the last three seasons.

2015: 3-0 vs AFCS; 0-2 vs rest of NFL
2014: 6-0 vs AFCS; 5-5 vs rest of NFL
2013: 6-0 vs AFCS; 5-5 vs rest of NFL

2013-15 Colts vs AFC South: 15-0
2013-15 Colts vs rest of NFL: 10-12

Pre season predictions always end up looking stupid, I liked the lions as a Dark horse for the super bowl. That being said if the colts go 9-7 they will win the division by 4 games

None of those three wins were anywhere near dominating. All three could have been loses.....two were wins by three points or less.....

The days of criticizing the AFCE are over. They are, right now, easily the best division in the NFL. I took 3 different power rankings, added up the rankings for each division, and this is how it shakes out.

AFCE - 147 (Buf-32, Mia-85, NE-4, NYJ-26)
NFCW - 178 (Ari-18, SF-77, Sea-33, SL-50)
AFCN - 186 (Bal-77, Cincy-10, Clev-65, Pitt-34)
NFCE - 190 (Dal-50, NYG-32, Philly-50, Was-58)
NFCS - 192 (Atl-13, car-20, NO-81, TB-78)
AFCW - 196 (Den-14, KC-70, Oak-65, SD-47)
NFCN - 203 (Chi-64, Det-93, GB-6, Minny-40)
AFCS - 292 (Hou-92, Indy-36, jags-93, Tenn-71)

The AFCS is clearly the worst, and that's based off of one ranking that has Indy ranked 9th (what games have they been watching?).
