Collins in for a Visit

Possibly.

But less than a year after this?

Good hands, no doubt. But that play isn’t as hard as it seems because Darnold was staring his man down the entire way. That’s the same reason Cousins threw all of those INTs last night.

Their are a number of factors why older LB's like Hightower and Collins fall off a cliff towards the end of the season. I always believed that the hard-driving practices BB has takes it's toll toward the end of the season on LB's more then any other position. Also the "fountain of youth" wears off by seasons end as well.

Yes definitely BB's fault and nothing to do with LB being the most physical position in the game.

I like the signing if he is there to solely spy Josh Allen and is only active for those 3 games.

Going to be weird when Kyle Dugger, Jamie Collins, and Cole Strange all run into each other in the hallway at the same time.

“Hello there crazy athlete from school nobody has ever heard of!”

It's a physical position for sure. These guys are tough.

I remember that offseason when the question was « who does NE keep » and the choices were HT, Collins, M Butler. HT was indeed the right call. Despite slowing in the last few years, the ability to make crucial plays at the biggest times…. Love me some HT.

I also remember the sassy answer HT gave when asked who his fav player was. Collins.

When he is on fire, Collins is amazing. Sadly, in between those fire moments, are lazy plays. I remember RBs taking advantage.

I am good with us resigning Collins.

I wonder if one of our linebackers is hurt or if bb is looking to upgrade an existing linebacker.

Collins always had that freak athleticism. But he's been cut multiple times for a reason.

It feels like that crazy ex that you have to cut off but you can't bring yourself to delete from your contacts list cos you might get lonely one night and need a desperate booty call?

We have Cameron mcgrone. We don’t need any linebackers

With how lost McGrone looks, and to a much lesser extent McMillan as well, is probably why Collins is in for a visit. Maybe he’s ready to be that veteran presence.

Could be useful on a low snap count as a blitzer, maybe could still block a kick as well. I no longer trust him in coverage or run defense.

If you can spare the roster spot and no one else looks like a better fit, whatever. It's the 53rd player (or not even that if this is a PS signing).

Just took a gander at Spotrac and since entering the league Collins has earned $54 Million, $7 M from the Pats and $7 M from Cleveland & Detroit.

Which is interesting considering he has only been noteworthy as a Patriot, in the other two teams they could not figure out how to utilize his talents.

Even though he returned to the game,I wonder if this means Bentley is pretty banged up.

This visit just Intel gathering or is it an indication Bentley is going to / may potentially miss time? If it's to replace Bentley I'd rather bring back hightower...

I was being sarcastic
