Wow.. now the line starts to perform at all pro level and javon baker over last 4 games gets 500 yards 5 TDs and Polk gets 200 yards 2 TD .

And we win all last 4 games...( B4 u ask I am sane, sober and not under influence of anything) ... Trying to wear a hyper optimistic hat prior to Christmas.

And we drop to pick 15. What will our off-season and drafting strategy in this highly unlikely scenario ....
Get off the ledge Toof... we'll take a Jet sweep from Baker.

On a side note I just went back history lanes and looked at our 2020 draft and noticed we traded down from 23 to 37.

And I observed that nkeal harry draft in 2019 prevented us from drafting any wide receiver in 2020.

And the players drafted between 23 and 37 are Brandon aiyuk, tee Higgins, Xavier McKinney and Jordan love.

One screwed first round pick led us to make continuous whiffs and altered our history altogether. The curse of nkeal harry is unreal . The butterfly effect of that pick just killed this franchise for 5 years and still going on...

And boy ! We have really sucked totally all across. Looking back at other players I don't think dugger is a great pick . It's an ok pick considering our failure rates. We are a rank bad scouting and drafting organization . Period !!!

If Strange can be a quality starter at any of the IOL positions, it's a big win. Because we may need two to three starters on the interior depending where big Mike is starting in 2025.

That’s not a terrible line if Lowe keeps the penalties down and Wallace plays average at RT..which he should be able to do. Both tackles will have 2 solid vets next to them at G.
Lowe should be a backup, but re-sign him. Not starting caliber though.

You could have taken aiyuk or Pittman by staying at 23 had they not taken harry. Hypotheticals of course.
How did taking Harry in 2019 not allow them to draft a WR in 2020?

Uh huh and I have no doubt you're sincere when you proclaim your sanity
OFC we all also realize the first thing every crazy F'er in the history of history said was "I am sane"
I know from personal experience, I say it all the time

A
Normally I’d agree with this, but they already knew Harry sucked and it was still a need.
Agree. But sunk cost fallacy realization happened late. We tried to make Harry play for 3 years, agholor 2 years, Thornton 2 ..

Brady spoiled us . We did not know when to cut our losses quick . Polk is one who also looks like a sunk cost at this point of time.

Great that Strange is back. Still unsure if he'll play Sunday.
I'm not sure where he should be though? And, how good can he be after an entire year off?
The worst thing would be to start him at Center IMO. That takes a while to acclimate and gain timing & chemistry.
But, Robinson just had his best game at LG, and it gets silly to just ping-pong guys around every week.

Mayo is desperate for wins.
Strange will play.

Justin Jefferson fell to 22!!!! Patriots had the next pick and sat there like a bunch of stooges! Minnesota caught them napping and traded to 22 and picked him.

Even Cee Dee Lamb falling to 17…patriots made no attempt to move up from 23.

Instead they traded back for a division 2 safety
