It's easy, and only takes a few moments.I can't see Bill going to the Jets, could never root for them and would not want BB anywhere near a SB with them. On the other hand, I'd love to see BB beat Shula and have it come at the expense of Whiny Bob, so if I had to ignore the laundry for the duration of such a tenure I'd willingly do so for entertainment/schadenfreude's sake.I'm pretty much in it for the entertainment value. The most entertaining option would be the Jets. The caterwauling all up and down the eastern seaboard would be terrific.
I agree with you. There's just a perverse part of me that would enjoy the initial drama. If I could wave a magic wand, I'd have Bill go the Cowboys and win his games, maybe even a SB to poke a little stick in Tommy's eye (not that I don't love him as well, but Tom can deal with it). It'd be fun also to see the Cowboys enjoy a little revival before Jerreh goes to that big Distillery in the Sky.I can't see Bill going to the Jets, could never root for them and would not want BB anywhere near a SB with them. I love words. so I use 'em. Nothing better than words. I vastly prefer them to people, for example, though not to dogs.
My late Dad was a Cowboys fan for a long time (before I pulled him into the Patriots orbit with my own enthusiasm). I think he'd get a kick out of that being the epilogue of the BB story.I agree with you. There's just a perverse part of me that would enjoy the initial drama. I had a hunch you'd appreciate a response beyond a reaction clickI love words. so I use 'em. Nothing better than words. I vastly prefer them to people, for example, though not to dogs.
Shakespeare called 'em "humblebees." I have only known them in passing, but they seemed friendly, though a little too earnest in their work.I had a hunch you'd appreciate a response beyond a reaction click
I tend to lurk since I'm largely ignorant of the inner workings of the Pats or football in general; I'm useless in a debate. Still, having inherited my Dad's affinity for word collection, I enjoy opportunities to wield them.
As to preferences, I've pleasantly discovered that bumblebees are also higher up on the companionship food chain...
Baltimore has almost always been competitive every year…..have to give them credit for consistency. I despise John H but he is a very good coach and evaluator of talent! This is the NFL. Teams cycle. He was a disaster you say, as though this wasn't always going to eventually happen. The only people this DOESN'T happen to are the people who immediately retire.
The 2nd best team in this league is the Baltimore Ravens. Their coach just went through an entire decade with one playoff win. That's it.
Between 2015-2017 he had 22 wins. You have to see things through, especially as you start moving on from a former QB in Flacco.
I'm talking about the fact that they had a swoon when they were bad for 3 years.Baltimore has almost always been competitive every year…..have to give them credit for consistency. I despise John H but he is a very good coach and evaluator of talent!
I would have liked to see what Bill would have done with Maye.I'm talking about the fact that they had a swoon when they were bad for 3 years.
This isn't a criticism of Harbaugh. It's the opposite.
I'm saying that if BB went 10 years with only 1 playoff win, and also had a dip over the span of 3 seasons, he wouldn't be treated with the patience that Harbaugh did.
Harbaugh won as many games in those 3 seasons and Belichick did the last 3 years.
AND he only won 1 playoff game over 10 seasons.
Yet his owner stuck with him.
Love Bill but he really needs a good OC & QB coach as defense is more his speciality.I would have liked to see what Bill would have done with Maye.
He would've made Mayo the OCI would have liked to see what Bill would have done with Maye.
He would've made Mayo the OC
