It's easy, and only takes a few moments.Guess my previous thread on this with ChatGPT was wrong cause Scenario 1 with the whole AFC North losing sans Cincy happened and the Pats still can't clinch a playoff spot tonight yet per playoffstatus.com
I like the sound of 50% odds to get a bye.
The common games between Denver & New England... they play the raiders twice, we play the jete twice... when everything is all totaled up, the tie breaker will be the win percentage...I don't understand how Denver right now has the tiebreaker in common games over us. The only common game loss we have is the Raiders, but I thought divisional games weren't included in common games since they get to play the Raiders twice and we only get one. Even if they loss to LV they're 1-1, does that mean they still get the tiebreaker with a .500 record vs .000 for us? I don't get it
Yeah it seems weird. Broncos are ahead by better win pct in common games. 5-0 in common games w/Pats- Ten, Cincy, NYJ, NYG, Raiders). But the standings tiebreakers say the Broncos are 4-0 not 5-0 in common games.
Yup also the Giants massive choke in their game with Denver...The common games between Denver & New England... they play the raiders twice, we play the jete twice... when everything is all totaled up, the tie breaker will be the win percentage...
Giants - Denver 1-0; New England 0-0
Raiders - Denver 1-0; New England 0-1
Bengals - Denver 1-0; New England 1-0
Titans - Denver 1-0; New England 1-0
Jets - Denver 1-0; New England 1-0
Right now denver is 5-0 (.1000), New England 3-1 (.750) vs common opponents... thats why they are the 1 seed... that early loss to ****sburgh was a dagger
As my kid is fond of saying... "Lot of football left, Dad". The calendar flips today and it's big boy football time. I don't think they'll stay at 2 losses, and I don't think Denver will either. Lot's to happen still. The common games between Denver & New England

I don't know why but when I looked at the score and saw it was Den up by 7 in OT I just thought to myself... "The Commies are gonna score, go for 2 and miss it."Can't believe WAS lost on that crazy 2pt attempt in OT. That would have changed a lot.
Broncos have won their last 4 games by 3pts or less.
After the terrible Raiders, they have 4 tough games - Packers, Jags, Chiefs, Chargers
They could lose 2 of those to give us a shot at #1 Seed.
I guess I just don't get the whole divisional games counting with the 2 games vs 1 game dilemma but if it just comes down to overall win percentage it makes senseThe common games between Denver & New England... they play the raiders twice, we play the jete twice... when everything is all totaled up, the tie breaker will be the win percentage...
