Week 16 referee assignments | Football Zebras

Hypothetically speaking. IF Blakeman happened to walk into the stadium with a pressure gauge and a tire pump shoved up his ass, would I get into........I mean would there be an investigation?

Blakeman — a four-year NFL ref who wears No. 34 — was in charge of the November game between the Patriots and Panthers that ended in controversial fashion. The back judge’s call of interference after Tom Brady threw toward Rob Gronkowski in the end zone was overruled. And the Panthers won.

jeezus krist ...make it stop..........

He also measured the balls at HT during the AFCC game and it was also his crew that threw about 5-6 OPI flags against the Pats in Dallas earlier this year.

Just keep your eyes on the shady calls. Lets just hope we get replays on tv

Clete Blakeman. Part of the original Air Pressure crew.

Each ball was checked first by Blakeman and then by Prioleau, with each official calling out the pressure measurement for each ball tested and Farley writing down the measurement announced by each official before moving to the next ball.

Curiously, though, the two men came up with different numbers on every ball they checked. Even curiouser, Blakeman’s were consistently worse for the Patriots than Prioloeau’s.

Patriots footballs in psi:

  • Prioleau: 10.80, 11.20, 11.50. 11.00, 11.45, 11.95, 12.30, 11.55, 11.35, 10.90, 11.35
  • Blakeman: 11.50, 10.85, 11.15, 10.70, 11.10, 11.60, 11.85, 11.10, 10.95, 10.50, 10.90
So in all but the first ball tested, Blakeman’s measurements were well below Prioleau’s. But his numbers were just as consistently favorable to Indy.

Colts football, in psi:

  • Prioleau: 12.35, 12.30, 12.95, 12.15
  • Blakeman: 12.70, 12.75, 12.50, 12.55

Referee who measured air pressure screwed Patriots before

Watch out now, talking like that kontradiction is going question why you even watch the Patriots.

hehe, I did see that and I'm being half sarcastic. I say half because of what I just saw Blandino do in MNF last Monday.

A similar catch where the feet may or may not have been in bounds was called a catch on the field like James White catch against the texans. Only in the MNF game the play stood as called unlike our game. And Blandino is the one that is looking at both the replays.

After reading this thread, this sums up my mood quite well...

Still butthurt I see. Are you going to throw a hissy fit in this thread like that embarrassing meltdown in the game thread?
