In the Denver game the contrast between McDaniels who was largely calling the plays with Belichick's over-sight, to Mangini - who was standing behind Belichick looking like some kind of ball boy - was notable.

However the Jets seemed to be desperate after Herm Edwards was such a bust.

When the Mangina...(pronounced "Mang-Eye_Na") stuff went down I was wondering...suppose Belichick was less than pleased and wanted to tinker with his definsive crews . If any negative news on Mangini was to leak out....would that delay him ever becoming a HC? So taking the Jets job became a no brainer.
