Love that he was game to make a come back... team/medical should have known better, shut him down for the season

I disagree because he has Maye. Should have 4 or 5 wins. They’ve scored a decent amount of points but the defense can’t stop a nosebleed.
I dont know about scoring a decent amount of points. they have yet to score 30+ in agame this season. The team hasn't scored 30 in a game for something like 44 games or so

I mean going into the season I predicted 4-13 and was okay with finishing around there
Going into the season you anticipated Maye being this good and did not revise your prediction? I agree with @Ross12 that will Maye this team should be a 5 or 6 win team. The coaching is atrocious.

I bet they would’ve put up 30 a couple times if the defense could get off the damn field

Wishing him good luck on recovery path. But looks like the probability of seeing him back on the field in future is greatly diminished.

Good, give the dude a year to get well. Getting banged around in a pointless endeavor is ridiculous
Wish him the best of luck and hope that this condition is not a career ender and that he can come back next year! Get well Christian

That may be the career ender. Anyone got some knowledge of blood clots to share?
Yes, I do. My wife works in the medical field and my good friends sister is an M.D. and his wife (who's also my friend) is a long-time RN. But, I won't share a highly plausible reason that they've told me as to why Barmore is going through this (which we discussed the last time he had them, in addition to the recurrence), because I'll get absolutely roasted on here. I will say that when Andrews had blood clots a number of years back, I recall it was one of the more treatable/curable blood clots conditions. If it's one of the other blood clots conditions that Barmore has (especially the reason why), his career may very well be over. But hopefully, he can live a reasonably healthy life outside of football overall (which is all that's really important). Additionally, DT was already a need (even with a healthy and at his full potential Barmore). Now, it becomes an even greater need.

Absolutely this. The difference from Jacoby playing vs Drake made a terrible season less terrible. If we had to stick with him, unfortunately he would either be dead or have zero wins (not that it matters now). The D for whatever reason, went the total opposite way I thought it would go. IF the D didn't implode like it did, I think we could have had a chance at the PO. Things aren't perfect by far but if they can fix the D and the OL, we can have a good future. I'm just glad Drake didn't get killed (yet). The fact the kid can carry this **** team says they definitely made the right choice. Very glad they did not trade down and not get him. Dude is polar opposites of Cam and Mac (there a coincidence their names are a palindrome?) The D needs an influx of talent (not much I feel), and some better coaching. Real question at the end of the year will be "Will there be a huge change in coaching?". Honestly don't think so but something needs to be done. Are there any up and coming young D coaches?

Obviously, this is the right thing for him. His life vs. a game. Hopefully he can come back. With that being said, Mason Graham is looking pretty good on the draft board.

I'm not a Doctor, but it was really weird how early he returned given the video stating he was on blood thinners.

His career is over.

I'm not a Doctor, but I have stayed at Holiday Inn's!

Good thing he signed that Contract, there is more to Life than Football. I think the writing on the wall wish him all the best.

So basically, we are all saying that I really don't know ANYTHING about Barmore's condition, but I feel compelled to say categorically that "his career is over, AND in case I haven't said it before in every thread I've posted, Mayo and his staff suck"

That is what I got from reading thread which I opened hoping to find if there was more detailed information about Baremore's condition. Instead, I got another dose of negativity that seems to be the only thing that is available on this site anymore.

There are a lot of factors that can lead to blood clots in otherwise healthy people. My bride had a rough go with blood clots due to a Protein C deficiency caused by a metabolic problem. TIA's were brutal, we almost lost her a couple of times. I have no doubt Barmore will recieve the very best of care and hopefully they can get a handle on it.

David Andrews missed an entire season with blood clots. So, not sure this is a career ender.....maybe just an abundance of caution thing? I hope...

I want to be positive ken but recurring is never good when it comes on to medicals.

Gotta say I was pretty surprised he came back as quick as he did. I hope he makes a full recovery.

Hopefully he retires, no sense to risk your life to play football
