He's not Sergio Brown, so I like it

Good depth/camp fodder.

Definitely not anything close to a solution.

If only he could be as good as the Pats last Saftey from the Cuse.

Right now a JAG is a significant improvement from Sergio Brown or Matt Slater or any other current back-up safety on the roster.

Looking at Landry too according to Jason Cole

BB's job, make the team better. This guy is no stud but is better than a few of the stumps we have listed on the 2011 roster in the safety position, assuming he plays STs.

Sports Hub is reporting we are looking at Landry too.

Sign them both and the secondary is better. And I hope all the moaning stops.

Hmm we sit and watch the insanity for a few hours then we look into a few players in a postion which is IMO our biggest need. If we sign these two guys neither spectacular but upgrades a position of need then I will be happy with FAency thus far.

Landry is the bigger name but Gregory is more of the coverage player so lets get both.

Isn't Landry a SS? If you've seen him recently, he's almost the size of a LB now. I'm sure a Chung/Landry backfield would be great against the run but struggle against the pass.

I don't get Landry. Too much of a SS who's biggest weakness is in coverage. Not exactly what we need at safety. Not to mention the injury issues and the contract it would take to get him.

Gregory blows

Color me unimpressed. I think I'd rather address issue through the draft.

Enough so that chasing him now is bad prioritizing

I hardly consider someone coming to visit the Pats to be the Pats chasing them. You act like they can't be in contact with more than one FA at a time.

Gregory would be nice depth, given what we have. I've no qualms.

This will be some competition for camp...I'd expect him to be camp fodder. He has STs value and can play as a hybrid CB/FS but his cover skills are average.

Saying that, I'd take him over Nate Jones and Antwaun Molden.
