Really hope he can be effective and disruptive like in the Miami game and pre-injury. Otherwise I hope BB is quick to turn to Francis and Scott.
Also I'm guessing this means everyone practiced in full today? Pretty sure Jones was the only one limited yesterday and Woody practiced in full yesterday.
Leach's lead blocks spring Rice often. Pierce gives him a blow, and is a very good receiver for a RB. Losing both their lead FB, and their #2 RB hurts all three runners. Rice at the point of attack, overuse, and cuts down on the RB flares and slants across the middle.

I was basically wondering if a 100% Francis or Scott is better than a 75%-85% Jones. Both those guys played lights out in Miami. Francis had 3 sacks and Scott 1. The team had 7 on the day, and. of course, a shutout.
Most people don't realize that it was his good ankle that got tweaked. So he continues to recover from the ankle that cost him half a dozen games. Apparently the new (ie the other) ankle injury was not anywhere near as severe.
So for the AFCCG the only starting players we will not have are Gronkowski, Edelman, and Stallworth, all on IR.

Leach being unable to play would be a stroke of good luck... he's an incredible fullback and that will help us make them one-dimensional, and force Flacco to throw into small windows.
