The Celtics tip-off their season at home against LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers in a repeat of the 2008 Eastern Conference Semifinals on Tuesday, Oct. 28, which will be ushered in with the team receiving their World Championship rings at 7:30 p.m. The contest with be nationally televised by TNT.

Three nights later, on Halloween night, the Green will host the Chicago Bulls on the famed Red Auerbach parquet floor.

The Celtics take on their 2008 NBA Finals foes the Los Angeles Lakers on Christmas day at the Staples Center

The Celtics appear on national broadcasts 25 times this season with broadcasts on ESPN, TNT and ABC. The Celtics appear on TNT nine times this upcoming season, on ESPN 10 times and on ABC six times. The Celtics have 13 national broadcasts at home while there are 12 on the road.

Additional Celtics marquee match-ups at home that will be nationally televised include Monday, Jan. 19 versus the Phoenix Suns, Sunday, Jan. 25, against the Dallas Mavericks and Sunday, Feb. 8 when the San Antonio Spurs make their only visit to Boston.
