And they aren't/didn't do a good job at it.It'll be like this the rest of the way. Just need to overcome it.

Well, what exactly is that roster? Porziņģis doesn’t remotely resemble who he was. Horford and Holiday have aged. So you have Tatum and brown, and obviously white, and you have to love Pritchard off the bench. But let’s not act like this is some All-Star roster, because it isn’t. And obviously Tatum‘s out nowJoe Mazzulla will need to pray harder. Absolutely pathetic with the roster he has to work with
“Generational guy?“ I’m not sure what you’re talking about. I’d rather have Tatum than Kevin DurantThis will be known as the "what if" part of the Celtics lore. Also, this is what happens when you don't get that generational guy in the draft. LeBron, KD, Duncan etc. The Celtics need a generational guy and they need to do whatever they need to get there. Trade Brown, Tatum, etc etc picks I don't really care.
You’re really going to take the stance that everything just fall off a cliff over one season after being dominant NBA Champions? Did you have this stance all season then after they won the title last year and that this year is house money with all these flaws?Well, what exactly is that roster? Nope, I never said house money. And Mazzulla definitely has his flaws, and the Celtics were awful in the fourth quarter in game one and two and blew it again this game. The issue last year was not whether or not they could win, but whether or not they could win it if it was close at the end and they still haven’t proven they could. You’re really going to take the stance that everything just fall off a cliff over one season after being dominant NBA Champions? How many teams have two All-NBA guys, a guy like Olympic gold medalist White who could be an All-Star elsewhere on a team that makes him a top guy, and a guy off the bench in Pritchard who would start for 75% of the teams in the league? Is that not enough to work off of? Tatum injury makes no difference, this game was over. Feel free to argue they’d rally back though if he was playing and overcome a 3-1 deficit.
You said it right here for sure. This team has been in it year after year and it’s just a long grind and a lot of things have to go right. There’s plenty to critique right now (and the season isn’t actually over, but I know it feels that way) but the bottom line is it’s tough to win., it is very, very difficult to win an NBA championship
As BB said, it's hard to win a championship even when everything goes right. You said it right here for sure.
