Yep. Good regular season. Winning 61 games is no joke.Onto the playoffs! Good regular season title defense.
On another note, love to see Oklahoma having the greatest point differential in NBA history, because it takes the record away from the Lakers, which is always a Good Thing
This series as we talked about possible match ups a few weeks ago RW.. I figured we see the magic. A tough, physical team that plays hard for thier coach. Magic would have been a top 5 seed had injuries not piled up. Going to be a tougher road this year to repeat. However looking forward to Cs in 6 this series.Agree. JB should rest the knee but from my understanding he needs months of rest and rehab. Unknown if he requires surgery.
Absolutely.. 61 games and Muzzulla deserves credit for Managing his roster over a grueling 82 game season. I don't know.. but I really like watching the Cs play on the road.. for some reason I don't get as excited at home games like I do for road games... just thought I'd mention it..Yep. A bit concerned about Jalen and the knee. Hopefully he can play through it, play well, rest when we can.
They should handle the Magic in ~5 games. They are pesky.
Agreed. Orlando is a big team. They are a young ,tough physical team that plays well together.Doesn't seem like it will get any better by rest.
C's are gonna have to get it done with a mediocre JB playing reduced minutes in the playoffs.
They have enough talent to win it all even in that situation but it won't be easy.
JT and KP both playing out of their minds.
DW and JH playing well and those 2 are the keys to winning it all. If our starting guards are playing their best we have a great shot. The depth is also better this year. Kornet has become a reliable beast, Al is just as good as he was last year, PP is better, Scheirmann contributes, Queta is better, Craig is a big upgrade off the bench.
JB's explosive one on one ability when the offense sometimes gets stale will be missed but if everyone else is clicking, C's will be fine.
They'll need to since obviously the comp is much tougher this year.
The Celtics don’t seem like they get as excited for home games either lolAbsolutely.. 61 games and Muzzulla deserves credit for Managing his roster over a grueling 82 game season. Orlando is a tough team. Great defense. Record doesn’t reflect strength because Banchero missed a lot of time. I expect them to steal one in Boston in G1 or G2. Cs in 6.
Weird playoff field. I like our matchups against the higher seeded Knicks, Pacers, and Bucks better than our matchups against the Magic, Pistons, or any of the other three teams (Hawks, Bulls, Heat.)
Teams I didn't want to face in the first round was the Magic,Pistons or Bulls.. both teams have shown they can give us problems. Teams with physical 6"10 wings give us trouble in our penetration. Pistons are for real as well.Orlando is a tough team. Great defense. Record doesn’t reflect strength because Banchero missed a lot of time. I expect them to steal one in Boston in G1 or G2. Cs in 6.

They were 22-24 w/ Banchero. 19-17 without him.Orlando is a tough team. Great defense. Record doesn’t reflect strength because Banchero missed a lot of time. I expect them to steal one in Boston in G1 or G2. Cs in 6.

Yep, this is why I was glad the Knicks traded Randle.Teams I didn't want to face in the first round was the Magic,Pistons or Bulls.. both teams have shown they can give us problems. Teams with physical 6"10 wings give us trouble in our penetration. Pistons are for real as well.
Now do Celtics minus JBThey were 22-24 w/ Banchero. 19-17 without him.
They are a better team with him but the record this year does not reflect it.
Ha 15-4Now do Celtics minus JB
That trade screwed up thier cohesion. I thought Randle was a force with the Knicks.Yep, this is why I was glad the Knicks traded Randle.
Their kryptonite on defense is a classic power forward. A good example is last year’s finals. When Luka was using his frame to back them into the paint and bully to the hoop he was feasting. When he tried to dribble around the perimeter and pull-up he got suffocated. That trade screwed up thier cohesion. I thought Randle was a force with the Knicks.
