I was trying to think of some famous people that are fans of the team but I can't think of any. The Red Sox have tons of them but for some reason the Pats don't.

Mark Wahlberg, Ben Affleck, Matt Damon, Steven King. I think they are Pats fans.

I did see Matt Damon wear a Pats hat in a photo so there one for the Pats. Don't know about the others.

Mark Wahlberg

towards the bottom Mark talks about being at a Pats/Jets game and clapping when the Pats won.

Gisele Bundchen.

You see lots of celebrities at basketball and baseball games on television because of the proximity of the seats to the field of play. That does not hold true for football, so you the camera does not pan to them so much. I think it's also a little more difficult to get special attention from security at an NFL game even at the fifty yard line, so the high rollers tend to end up in suites. Though the cameras do pan up there every game, it's a much more difficult face shot than a front row MLB or NBA camera shot.

Look at it another way: how many celebrities do you see on TV at any NFL game?

So, other than my obvious one, everyone here has listed a native New Englander.

That's not news, folks.

Hey, this is easy: Lenny Clarke! Cliff Klaven! Fitzy from Townienews.com!

jay leno is a huge boston sports fan
He may root for the pats but he doesn't follow football. I remember Terry Bradshaw went to his show and he ask a simple question about football he didn't know the answer, i think it was "who was last year's mvp", and when he asked what was his favorite team he said, "i don't really have one but well i guess the patriots", however he is a huge red sox fan.

The reason why they show the celebrities at other sports games is because there is so many pauses (like baseball) and they just aren't exciting like foorball so they show celebs in the stands.

Come to think of it, that must be why they don't show celebs at hockey games.

Right?

Right?

Will Smith is a huge Eagles fan. Matt Stone and Trey Parker are Broncos fans. Brad Pitt has been seen at Saints games. When watching the NFL Network which was showing a Cowboys game, Eminem showed up to the game.
