Carson has a concussion

No penalty on the helmet-to-helmet hit that caused it, because player safety comes first.

Edit: you would think those kind of hits would be a "point of emphasis" if they actually gave a ****. Instead, we get stuff like targeting Gronk for OPI.

Why are we hoping Palmer suffered a brain injury exactly?

Who are the "we" you're accusing this board of being exactly?

If Carson Palmer is horrible.
I laughed out loud when Arizona gave him that contract. I laughed twice as hard when he tore his ACL after signing that ridiculous contract.

I felt bad for his team after his embarrassing performance in the NFC Championship game.

Carson Palmer is horrible !

Im just curious, what exactly was funny about him tearing his acl?
I get disliking a player but c'mon man, its not even TJ Ward we're talking about here!

Carson Palmer? Isn't he that guy who talked **** before the Cardinals/Patriots game? Sucks to get injured, but his team is in trouble already. 1-3 in a division with two 3-1 teams... Cardinals need to win their next three and Seahawks/Rams need to both lose at least one before Cardinals can even talk playoffs.

Anyone who talks sh*t about deflategate elicits not one iota of sympathy from me. F*ck him and everyone who looks like him.

Said something dumb about the Pats... deserves a brain injury. Nice thought process.

I was watching the highlights of sunday games on sportscenter and it was like 20 seconds for each game so the play they show Palmer getting hurt, I don't know if that was really the play because it looks like he was not even hit in the head.

Anyway, Palmer is old and injury prone, going into the season when you are a SB contender with Drew Stanton as the backup, Arians and the Cardinals GM deserve the Dumb Awards of the year, Stanton is possibly the worst QB I ever seen. This next Thursday Night Football looks like is something will take away potential fans from the game, the NFL should seriously consider some excuse and do not broadcast that **** live on tv and twitter.

I'd need to see the play again, but, from what I remember, it was more of Palmer's head hitting the turf than a helmet to helmet hit.

On your second point, even if Palmer stayed healthy, his performance in the playoffs last year should have been enough for the Cardinals brass to realize they need to get a better back up QB.

It was funny because Arizona overpaid that under achiever & then lost him for the year.

Payback for a bad decision.

I was laughing at the Cardinals.

Well, during the game they showed a clear helmet-to-helmet hit by a defensive lineman while Palmer was being checked on the sideline. Not sure if it was a prior play.

Sucks that he has a concussion, he definitely doesn't deserve that.

That said, even before the concussion he wasn't playing well. Which shouldn't be a huge surprise, really. He hasn't been a consistently good QB over the course of his career. The QB he's been through 4 games isn't any more or less consistent with his career at large than the QB he was last year.
