Can the Jets still make the playoffs?

My understanding is the Jets can only get in if they win the division. Wild Card is out of the question, so they have to win against the Dolphins and hope the Pats lose. Can anyone confirm this?

That's not correct.

If the Jets beat Miami and the Patriots win, the Jets could still win the Wild Card if the Ravens lose to Jacksonville.

They'd win via the Conference Record tie-breaker (8-4 to 7-5)
