I would say he is one of three players that I can not-or do not -want to get a handle on. Seems every year there is a guy like this that I am completely confused by. Mayock usually has good instincts-Patriots did have him in to visit. Patriots did attend Senior bowl week where many reported that he stole the show at practice and in the game. I would have to say that there must be something special about him. Maybe the light just came on at the right time. I am sure Patriots have had to dig deep into his character even before bringing him in for a visit. Mayo played with him-should have some insight. We will see-if Mayock is right then Ayers could jump into top 12.
