I hear we're going to burn some cash in FA. At least Pelissero thinks so. Patriots Expected to Be 'Very Active' in Free Agency

The question is will history repeat itself? Will Vrabel and Drake really make a difference, or is New England still so undesirable a few million more per year won't make a difference for prime FAs?Who cares? The faster we put the 2024 season behind us the better.
See above. They had the most last season, and that didn't pan out, did it? The Giants outpaced them. Also, no **** since the Pats have the most cash to spend in the League this off-season.
The question for me, as I explained to arch, is whether Vrabel & Drake are enough to significantly move the needle for FAs, or is New England still too undesirable due to taxes, weather, nightlife, etc. I really don't know how it's going to pan out. If they can't get FAs to sign, they won't be burning through much cash. They should and anyways They pretty have to. There’s barely anyone to resign so should have over 100m going into fa. Can only carry over so much of that even if they wanted to

Quite frankly, I won't believe it until it happens.
Why would it? It's a different, easier schedule (for once) and it's a whole new coaching staff. Will there be growing pains? Yup. I also think that Vrabel and Drake will be attractive enough for free agents as well as, you know, money. You seem to have missed the point of my post. The question is will history repeat itself?
They will. I sense there will be a trade or trades that net us a premier player or 2.. in 2021 We were able to get guys here and this was while we still had Cam Newton as the QB . Last season was hard to sell guys on a first time HC and Brissett as the starter. The question for me, as I explained to arch, is whether Vrabel & Drake are enough to significantly move the needle for FAs, or is New England still too undesirable due to taxes, weather, nightlife, etc. I really don't know how it's going to pan out. Hate Eliot Wolf all you want to but he was right to stand pat, despite the mountain of **** he took for it, and they are going to reap the rewards of that decision this offseason.
Andrew Thomas is a LT. The Giants actually did Saquon a solid and didn’t handcuff him by franchising him again. All they asked in return was for him to allow them to match any offers he received. Barkley told them what they wanted to hear but then sign with Philly. And thank Eliot Wolf for that. The Giants blew money, signed a mediocre guard for 100 million, let their best player walk for a fraction of that, and then totally sucked again this season.
, Wolf recognized players didn’t want to come here, and that the market sucked, re-signed the guys they wanted to keep, meaning they don’t have to re-sign them this year, and tried to get some depth.
He sure spent a lot of Bob’s money, only to get 3 wins before Buffalo gifted them the 4th.Hate Eliot Wolf all you want to but he was right to stand pat, despite the mountain of **** he took for it, and they are going to reap the rewards of that decision this offseason.
