The Buc coaches are stupid idiots who know nothing about football, and should immediately be fired so you can replace them and correct the egregious mistake that someone who has been to zero of their practices, seen zero of their players work out, use techniques, and be assessed, and seen what 100 defensive plays this year by them at best, can so easily see how wrong they really are.

FTR, I am sure the Bucs coaches forget more than I'll ever learn about football. That doesn't mean that they are right to take an elite cover corner and put him in a zone system. Acquiring a player who excels in man then paying him 16 million a season to play zone is not smart business.

But you cannot criticize the DC for not choosing a scheme based on justifying that decision.

That is fine. There was nothing false in my argument other than matching a stupid analogy with one equally stupid to illustrate it.

In the end, we agree if you are going to play zone, spending 16 million on a corner is stupid.

We disagree that I think the DC should play the defense that gives him the best chance to win, and you think he should play the one that legitimizes one players contract while being a less effective overall defense. Since you admitted they know better what defense is best for them, that is the only argument you can possibly have.

It is fine, you can feel whats best for Revis is more important than whats best for the Bucs, but I disagree.
