Bryan Stork - Someone needs to step in

I read that and didn't see anything in there that would make it the right choice for Stork to retire.

Don't know what to tell you. It debunks your claims that he'd not have health insurance if he retired. And, as I stated, it being a football related injury, insurance would pay this year and next year. I debunked your claim that he'd be out money. And being out of the NFL doesn't matter because his health is more important..

Football question: Is there any reason why Stork is playing the position with his head so much? I thought OL mostly just mauled with their hands and such.

Not Stork so much as the 350 lb bulls in front of him. But his brain is banged up and now he's susceptible.

Stork's head is exposed at the Center position more than at the other OL positions.

The only way that Stork can continue his NFL career is if he changes positions, such as moving from Center to RG, with Shaq Mason moving to Center, the position for which he is more naturally suited and where he could eventually become an All-Pro.

But again, if he doesn't retire, they'd either have to give him an injury settlement or put him on the IR where he'd get his full salary. He wouldn't have to use the insurance until next year and the since the insurance payout is not the same amount of money as his salary, it doesn't make sense to go that route unless you have to.

Perhaps being in the NFL matters to him.
